We renovated this old stone house ourselves, combining original materials with comfortable modern designs, creating a comfortable and spacious space. There are three private double bedrooms each with en suite facilities, a living room and a fully equipped kitchen. You can park right in front of the house. Through the gate there is a stone paved courtyard where steps lead up to a covered terrace/balcony. To the rear of the house there is a peaceful sun-bathed terrace, ideal for eating breakfast outside. Relax, read a book and enjoy the sunshine.

The house facilities: All bed linen, towels and kitchen linen are provided, cleaning is also included in the price. We do ask that you use your own beach/swim towels rather than taking the towels from the house. You can hire these towels if necessary.

  • Sleeps up to 6 people, there is a possibility of adding one extra single bed and/or a cot
  • Three en suite double bedrooms (beds 160cm x 200cm)

Norma and Charles, August 2017

I stayed at Anna’s place for four nights with my wife and her parents. We had a wonderful stay. The house has is an old stone building but has been well restored with everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and washing machine. The house is comfortable and nicely decorated. Nice terrace in the back and porch in the front. The house is a great location for visiting sights in the Ardèche area: boating on the Ardèche, the caverns at Pont d’Arc, and the caverns at D’Orgnac. We were here in October so Barjac was relatively quiet, but there were still some nice restaurants open, and there was a great market on Friday morning. Communication with Anna was very easy, and she met us outside the house just as we were pulling up. I highly recommend Anna’s house for anyone visiting the Ardèche area.

“Very comfortable and well equipped house in beautiful village with good amenities.”
Juliette and family, Oct. 2015

Had a fantastic time in Maison Brown and the village. House was very comfortable and tastefully equipped. Location was perfect for either spending time in the village or traveling further afield. Owners very welcoming and we would certainly recommend it to friends and hopefully will revisit in the future.

We had a fantastic time staying at Maison Brown. The house is beautifully finished and is extremely well equipped. It’s in a very good location with about a 5 minute walk into the centre of Barjac where there’s a whole host of great restaurants and most importantly a boulangerie. A Carrefour market is also 10 minutes walk away. Within 30 minutes you can get to the Pont d’arc and other places of interest like a 25m swimming pool that only costs €3.50 which includes a women’s water aerobics class in the morning. Anna was really helpful throughout our stay and provided us with lots of useful information. She was also kind enough to provide us with a parking barrier to use as a popular antiques market was on whilst we were there. I would also recommend hiring bikes whilst in the area, another thing that Anna helped with. It’s a great way to explore the surrounding villages and also the Cevennes national park. Overall this is a brilliant airbnb run by excellent hosts. I highly recommend anybody staying there!

“Perfect centrally in barjac, child friendly”
“Good place to stay for people with children. kitchen is very well equipped. Nice closed small garden en roofed terrace on opposite side. Friendly owners living next door. Bars, bakery, and restaurant within walking distance.”
Koplem, March 2015.

A recommander!”
Anne Hardy, April 2015.
